Ayatollah Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, Head of the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at September 4, 2026 met with Maulana Syed Shaban Bukhari, Imam and Grand Mufti of Delhi’s historic Jama Masjid, during his official visit to New Delhi to participate in the meeting of Chief Justices of the BRICS member states.Mohseni Ejei also attended Friday prayers at the historic Jama Masjid, where he received a warm welcome from the worshippers. The meeting was held in the spirit of strengthening religious and cultural ties and further consolidating the longstanding historical relations between the peoples of Iran and India
