A Joint Roundtable Held by the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF)
The joint roundtable between the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) of India was held in Tehran.
On 7th January, 2025 (18 Dey 1403 in the Persian calendar), the IPIS hosted a joint roundtable with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) of India. This event was attended by Mr. Sunjoy Joshi, Chairman of ORF, along with a delegation of prominent Indian experts and a group of senior Iranian experts.
During the event, various strategic and critical topics were discussed. The roundtable began with a focus on the transitional phase of the global order, emphasizing the unique roles of middle powers such as Iran and India in shaping global developments. Another key segment of the discussion addressed developments in West Asia from both Iranian and Indian perspectives, underscoring the importance of constructive engagement and strategic cooperation to enhance regional stability and security.
