Dr. Mohammad Fathali Presents His Credentials to the Honorable President of the Republic of India

This event marks the formal beginning of the Ambassador’s mission to strengthen friendly relations and comprehensive cooperation between Iran and India.

His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Fathali, the new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to New Delhi, presented his credentials to Her Excellency Ms. Droupadi Murmu, the Honorable President of India, on Monday, 15 December 2025.

This event marks the official start of the new Iranian Ambassador’s mission to enhance friendly relations and broad-based cooperation between Iran and India.

Dr. Fathali is a senior diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He has previously served as Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon and Uzbekistan.
