Iranian Food Festival Held in the Capital of India

The Iranian Food Festival was held in New Delhi with the participation of officials, ambassadors, and guests from Iran and India.
This festival took place from 11th December to 16th December (Azar 21-26 in the Iranian calendar) at the Eros Hotel in New Delhi, organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in collaboration with the CD Foundation.
The opening ceremony of this six-day festival was attended by ambassadors, cultural counselors, and diplomats from various embassies in New Delhi, along with prominent figures from different countries, heads of tour companies, and representatives of major Indian media outlets.
During the event, Iran's ambassador and cultural counselor expressed their gratitude to Indian tour operators who actively promote tourism to Iran by presenting them with certificates of appreciation and gifts.
Eight chefs from various provinces of Iran showcased authentic Iranian cuisine to Indian enthusiasts throughout the six-day event.
Dr. Iraj Elahi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to India, emphasized the importance of fostering cooperation between the two nations through cultural festivals and tourism development in his speech at the festival's opening ceremony.
As part of the festival, activities included an Iranian food competition, a culinary workshop on Iranian and Indian dishes for the spouses of Iranian diplomats, and a special Iranian dinner event with guests from various countries.
