The 20th meeting of the Iran-India Joint Commission was held today in New Delhi
The 20th meeting of the Iran-India Joint Commission was held today in New Delhi, co-chaired by Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, India’s Minister of External Affairs. Senior officials from relevant ministries of both Iran and India were also in attendance.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the implementation of the provisions of the long-term cooperation agreement signed between Iran and India last year. Various aspects of bilateral cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, health, food and pharmaceuticals, customs, transportation, and more were extensively discussed.
At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on customs cooperation and another MoU on regulations related to pharmaceutical products were signed by the respective deputy ministers of economy and health from both countries.
Additionally, the official minutes of the 20th Iran-India Joint Commission were signed by the foreign ministers of both nations.
The next meeting of this commission is scheduled to be held in Tehran next year.
